Jack Franchi
Jack Franchi is the Director of Bands at Lenape High School in Medford, NJ. His musical career began at the age of 5 when his parents signed him up for piano lessons. (Spoiler: they worked.)
Jack graduated from The College of New Jersey in 2014 with a BA in Music Education with a Saxophone Concentration. His teaching career began in Rome, but once he got back to New Jersey he taught in Pennsauken from 2015-2022 as a middle school and high school band director. Between Pennsauken and Lenape, Jack has directed Wind Ensemble, Jazz Band, Concert Band, Marching Band, and Orchestra, as well as taught Music Technology, Piano Lab, Music History, Advanced Instrumental Proficiency, and Intro to Instrumental Proficiency. He has also composed original music and arranged for various ensembles. He is also the house manager for Lenape High School's auditorium and runs sound for all Lenape-hosted events
Jack is currently working towards his Master's in Music (MM) degree in Instrumental Conducting from Rowan University.
When not in school, Jack can be found in the studio, spending time with his beauitful daughter Aurora, walking the dogs around the lake, or performing with the Fralinger String Band. He also accompanies his wonderful wife Chelsea when she feels like singing jazzy tunes.
Chelsea Bader
Chelsea Bader is currently the Choral Director at Clearview Regional Middle School. She has been singing since she could talk and started voice lessons at the age of 14. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Vocal Music Education from Rowan University. Chelsea has traveled abroad with the Rowan Concert Choir to perform in Czech Republic, Poland, Hungary, Italy, Germany and Austria. While in Germany and Austria she appeared as a Soprano soloist for Handel's Missa Brevis in F Major. Chelsea has performed as a Soprano soloist in Handel's Messiah and has appeared in roles, such as Giulietta in Offenbach's The Tales of Hoffman and as Susanna in Mozart's Le Nozze di Figaro.
The classical stage isn't all Chelsea is used to. She has been in shows at the Broadway Theater in Pitman, such as, All Shook Up and Seussical, and Lucinda in Sondheim's Into the Woods at The Grand Theater in Williamstown.
Chelsea is a lead singer for the local cover/wedding band Mystery Machine. Chelsea enjoys exploring all genre's of music and has a passion for creating a vocal technique to encompass all genre's of singing. Chelsea is inviting all types of singers to join her on their musical journey!
